Even a blind pig will find an acorn now and then.

But even then, they say this only because the Vatican astronomer came out against Creationism. . .

. . .and Pope "Benny" is still "crazy. . .

. . .and the author will still not go to church unless the Church makes some "real changes". . .

Nevertheless, my heart actually stopped beating (one beat only) to see the MoonBat Banner of the Left actually say something nice about the Catholic Church.

Y'know, if the Left could ever stop and think consistently (instead of holding fast to such schizoid conundra as "Abortion good, capital punishment bad") they might see that the Church has a lot to offer the Left.

Banish political correctness; bring back the old values such as self respect and respect for the sanctity of marriage and decent clean, honest living and there would be no need of abortion.
We could all live much happier lives respecting oneanother.

The ‘sanctity’ of marriage? Marriage was then and is now a contract. The church had nothing to do with it for nearly 1500 years and you folks act like this institution was something magical.

The church fought for control of marriage and even has changed it’s stance on divorce to the current immoral view that it has now. This when virtually every NT scholar says the church has it wrong biblically from historians to lanquage scholars. But you cling to that dogma. At least more and more priests are seeing the light on this one.

WHERE are you getting your history from? Let’s see some citations. Because it sounds to me like you are pulling ideas straight out of your ass.
