PZ tries to have it both ways. . .shoots self in foot August 3, 2006

See prior link.

Now, PZ tries to tell us that his little urchins are taught to “think skeptically, and use scientific processes.

Followed by a presentation by a pair of pagans and their “belief system.” They were not presented as a means for rhetorical destruction, PZ. They were presented as part and parcel of the secular belief system.

When all PZ is preaching, as I’ve said in the past, is his own “belief system.”

Just the same as Jeebus Camp, PZ. Indoctrination R Us.

How do you know that?

Why else would the fools allow themselves to even GO to this place if they knew they were being sent to the (putatively) wolves?

Tell you what, Gorgia. I have a formula for your happiness: Spend all of your time at Kos, Pandagon, Pharyngula and punkassblog. There you can hear the soothing sounds of the LeftGroupThink to your heart’s content, know that the stars are in their correct courses, and you won’t have to get all wound up debating that stpuid, senseless Hoody. It’ll save on your blood pressure meds.

Odd that that thought never occured to you back when you were certain that they would bring in some hapless Christians for the little Hitlers to practice on:

…the atheists have every intention of bringing in poor speakers, the better to allow the “free thinking” campers to sharpen their rhetorical tools, as inculcated in them by the counselors.

It’s amazing how protean your arguments are. First it’s clear to you that the atheists are leading Christian lambs to the slaughter, now it’s obvious that nobody in their right mind would allow themselves to be targets of a rhetorical wolf pack. The only conclusion I can find (that doesn’t involve disingenuousness on your part) is that you believe pagans are just more canny and perceptive than Christians.

It’ll save on your blood pressure meds.

There you go again, diagnosing medical problems over the internet. Why are you wasting you time blogging? With a skill like that you could save hundreds, maybe thousands of lives. Go forth and diagnose, sir. There are people dieing as we type that could have been saved, if only you were there.

Hot air (and strawmen) fill the air when Gorgia comes to town,. . .
